mxl 990/991 mic kit

anybody use the mxl 990. i got 2 of the 990/991 mic kits and their awesome. ive found that i can use the 990 for numerous situations. but i really only use the 991 for overheads and acoustic guitars . somtimes a violin .. but just wondering if anyone else has used them and what they think of them! thanks

I just got a pair of those with protectors for $100. I haven't had the chance to get back in the studio yet to try them out.
I've read nothing but good reviews one them.

Can't wait to try them tomorrow.... too late today.
