I probably shouldn't be posting, because I may not be in a position to do a good sound test for a while (and I may never be in a position to do a fully defensible sound test), but I just got back my 603s from Marik:
I also sent some omni capsules that I got on ebay (they're in front, and I suspect they were not made by MXL). All four capsules are neatly re-machined -- apologies for the crappy cell phone picture. I also got an electronics mod (but not transformer). I can't get the casing off with my crappy little screwdriver, but I might try later -- I'd leave it to Marik to post pics of that, anyway, if he was so inclined.
Anyway, can't wait to try them out! Anyone else get this mod yet?
