hello. i have an old music man guitar amp (i'm not sure which model...it's got two 10 inch speakers, a drive channel and a normal channel, and reverb and tremelo). the problem is, their is no reverb tank in the back of the amp. i'd really like to use this amp, but i can't live without spring reverb...does anyone know where i can get a reverb tank for an old music man amp...and does anyone know how i would hook it up if i could find one?

thank you.
jon.

You could probably go to a pawn shop and get the oldest, dirtiest looking amp for next to nothing and pull the spring reverb tank out of it.

I prefer the 2 spring tank in my Super Reverb to the 3 spring one that came with my MKIII. The MKIII is mounted in a rack, and I use an old DOD R848 rackmount analog/spring reverb with it. It sounds better than the tank that came with the head, but still not as good as the one in the Super.

Actually it's the only piece of DOD gear I've ever really liked. It's funky, but in a cool way.

I've never opened it up to see what the spring config. is. Don't need to.;)
