Music creation software for acapello vocal recording.?

I have written many folk and country songs, a few of which I've been told have potential. The music producer I work with does a perfect job arranging music that fits the structure of the song and even hires musicians from big name rock bands to arrange and play the instrumental tracks. He does a great job, but can spend a year getting two songs mixed and recorded. I there a software that would analyze a vocal only track which is in pitch and in time and compose music to match.

You might want to look at Band-in-a-box from pgmusic.com

But it won't 'automatically' write music for you.

Computers aren't that smart (yet)

Wow 2 songs a year - that's not many. Must be hard to wait for them to be completed. Buy a keyboard with single finger chord capabilities and learn how to back yourself up. At least you can enjoy playing while waiting for the producer.
