Hi everyone, i have purchased a Behringer 1832 mixer with a usb interface, a macbook pro and im using Cubase le5 recording software. i want to be able to record up to 6 instruments through the mixer onto seperate tracks in Cubase, can anyone explain how i can do this ?

Thankyou

Is this it?

BEHRINGER: X1832USB

Says it only outputs two channels across the USB port.

Thanks to the built-in, bi-directional stereo USB audio interface, you can connect any of these mixers directly to your PC or Mac computer via a single USB cable.

If the USB interface is the UCA200, you can only get two tracks at once from your mixer. It looks like the mixer has subgroup outputs so you may be able to get more individual tracks out of the mixer but you would need an interface with 6 inputs to get them individually into Cubase.

2 instruments at a time with that mixer/interface, due to the stereo USB output.
