so I have a presonus firestudio tube interface which has 16 inputs. I tried recording with garageband but apperantly it only lets you record up to 8 tracks at once. does pro tools let you record more than 8 tracks at a time? or any other software? I need to record at least 13 tracks at a time.
Most DAW's will do what you need, as long as it's not the stripped down versions i.e protools MP, studio one artist, the ones usually thrown in with audio interfaces.
Reaper, Logic, or Pro tools to name three will all be fine
