You are looking for a headphone amp like this:

Don't let the price scare you away. They go on eBay for around $100. I bought mine for $30 and fixed a few small problems.

They are set up so that the master input signal goes to all outputs (can drive 12 headphones). Each of the 6 channels can have an independent input as well. (read the manual on that one)

You think that's weird, I replied to his question in 2001 before I was even a member and my answer was nearly the same word-for-word as yours... but for some strange reason my reply has disappeared from this thread. :eek:
