so i'm trying to route all the mics in ezdrummer to individual tracks in fl and am having some difficulty.
i've looked over the manuals for ez and fl several times but i'm still just....huh?
i'm totally new to DAWs and more significantly new to large numbers of ins and outs and just advanced routing in general.

if anyone here is knowledgeable on the subject some help would be awesome!

What i usually do is take the midi track ive made/downloaded and separate each "note" into its own midi file. I open up my DAW and I'll load 1 midi file, apply EZdrummer to it and save it as a .WAV file and repeat until i have each drum loaded with ezdrummer and saved as a .WAV.

that way you can have the sound of ezdrummer except it doesnt use up your ram and cpu and you can still apply effects to the drums like eq, compression, gate, reverb, etc.

and welcome to the site!

You can simply turn down the volume of all mics except the one you want to record now in the EZDrummer mixer.

In cakewalk I do even simplier. Just turn engage solo button for channel a want to store now and export with option "what you hear".

It's actually quite simple. Just make sure you do 2 things:
1. Open the mixer in EZDrummer. Select any track and set it to multichannel. You should now see each track routed to a different number (eg., 1, 2, 3...)
2. Open FL Studio's Wrapper settings by clicking the gear icon in the top left of EZ Drummer's vst window. Select "PROCESSING". In the "Connections" area, set each output according to it's number. (see link for image)

There! You now have EZDrummer fully routed to FL Studio's mixer :)
