multi tracks recording

i remember in Cakewalk 9 i was able to assign differents tracks on the keyboard to differents channels on cakewalk

is there a way to this in SX beside the dissolve part feature

Late response, but...


No. In Cubase SX, each track is a channel. So in effect, there are no channels to think about. I think this is easier and less confusing.

the reason i ask is because for example sometimes when i record on some tracks to be dissolved some pitches are sent to the wrong channel some notes from one track are transfered to another
