Hey everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to sync two delta 1010's via word clock to one computer. I went on M-audio's website and they said to connect via s/pdif, but this did not work with my computer for some reason and M-Audio support has been no help.

We are building a studio and were going to start off with 16 tracks.

If this is not possible to sync them via word clock, I can no longer bring the newest delta back due to the fact I bought it at mars music.

I would appreciate any other configuration that might utilize both
delta's in the studio.

i've asked a few people about this before and i've been told that you can have up to 4 1010s. as for how toget them to work i cant tell you cuz i've never done it

i think you need to connect them on the back of the deltas.
but you can use "sub-outs" on your mixer (if you have any) to get the extra tracks into your delta.
im using sonar XL 2, delta 1010 and a mackie 1604 vlz. i get 12 tracks with playback monitoring. i was considering getting another delta to avoid the "sub-out" hassle, but it really isnt that big of a deal once your used to it.
does your delta control panel recognize the other delta? it would show if you had more than 1 hooked up.

When we concected the two delta's together via s/pdif our computer would recognize them, but we would get pop's and click's when recording.

well first, obviously check your input levels. too hot of a signal would cause this.
2-make sure the master clock setting is set to S/PDIF input
3-check buffer sizes. did you run the audio profiler?
4-high performance video cards ""graphics acceleration" might cause pops also. turn off graphics acceleration.
