What are some good mics in this range. Ive been lookin at the C-414 BULS, but ive heard the TL-II is much better. How do the other mics in this range compare?
I wouldn't really say the TL II is "much better". The TL II is a transformerless version of the B-ULS. It depends on the applications you have. Both of those mics run more than $500 - unless you find them used.
