Can anyone give recommendations on a multi (like seven) CD burner. Someone recommended the EZDupe machines to me. I wanted to find out if anyone has success/horror stories with some other brands.

thanks in advance- david

My advice is to have it replicated by a reputable replicator don't spend the money on a duplicator..

thanks scott, but...

I'm working with a community theatre that needs multiple copies of the songs we choose (or write) for the entire cast to practise with (at least 100 people per show; usually three shows each year). The CDs then get collected and destroyed/reused to remain within copyright restrictions from the publishers. I need to find a reliable/quality duplicator. (And yes, I will also probably want to make multiple copies of the things I churn out of the project studio I work in). The replicator (I take it that you mean sending it off for someone else to make copies of the material) isn't really an option for financial reasons.

How about a high-scool or junior high student getting paid $5 an hour?

Depending upon your burner, they should churn out at least 6 cd's an hour (per computer). On 1 computer, that would be like, 17 hours of work (over the course of 3 days) or $85 per show.

On 3 computers, that's 6 hours of work- only $30 per show! (<$100 per year!)

OR! You get a highschool student who is into Theater Tech, and you get them to do it, and you don't pay them a dime, and they get CLASS CREDIT!!! Win win situation!

Never understimate slave labor!
