Hi all,
does anyone utilize MTC to control outboard delay/verb's? I don't quite get it.
e.g. in DP(digital Performer) I can get Lex MPX550 to lock MTC for say a delay, but the Lex is locked to tempo so I can't change the delay time.

Is this behaviour just a lack of tweekage on Lexi's part or am I missing something.

Usually when you lock to tempo there's an option for quarter/eight notes, triplets etc. The idea being that the processor will automatically calculate the delay time based on tempo and the note duration.

Thank you for the reply Tom.
well after some more manual research, I found that with the MPX550 the patch's (mono delay)course adjustment knob can initiate the general dealy time value. i.e. 54 gives a delay of 108ms. 53= 164ms etc in program mode. so on to 2nd page of tweekage it lets you fine tune the delay -allthought it takes like 20 clicks for a measly 2 ms change-eek!
Not to mention the patch has 3 available delay algo's-woah tweek city.

Now where is my BPM calculator? LOL Getting a grip on delays are a PITA.
Its so much easier with a ALEX box:D
