I want to order an MSH-1O. I got a 1M which sounds similar to the 1A but I don't like it as much. I heard the 1O is an improved version of the 1A, and I think that will sound better on acoustic.

so i think i'm going for a pair of cardioids, a stereo bar and a couple clips. hooray for impulsive spending and GAS!
i just noticed that according to that graph at the bottom of the page, the freq response of the Cardioid version looks drastically different....is that bad?
looks like self noise is higher too.
maybe i'll just get the omnis. would they work OK for drum OH or close micing, or would the cardioid be better?

Nope, price got bumped up sometime around the new year, I believe.
Are the 1Ks the equivalent of the older 1C and voiced for toms still, or voiced more for kick, or somewhere in between? I want to pick up 3 or 4 for toms, especially at this discount price.
