does anyone have some good uses for the internal condenser? I was thinking about recording live demos, but was wondering if it picks up the sound of an entire room well. Thanks!
Although I have not tried it, using for live demos sounds like a poor choice. I can't imagine that would yield a good result. Single mic recording usually has some issues for most bands.
However using it as a simple means to document, via audio, what was done on a recording might be good. You finish your remote tasks, and then record a short audio summary to document your efforts.
yeah, that makes sense. because of its location, it makes it hard to, say, sing into, or play into. so far the use of it for notes seems like the best.
I've never found a use for it either (honestly never tried!), but I remember someone here saying that they were pleasantly surprised by well it actually sounded (due to extreme low expectations?)...
I once had a song pop into my head, and wnated to lay it down, but I only had my acoustic-electric guitarand the MR-8 with me at the time, so I recorded a few tracks with the a/e and then used the internal mic to record the vocals. I actually didn;t sound too bad......... I later recorded a better vocal track when i got back to the "studio" and scrapped the internal mic track
