MR8 colab. project

At this point, it's only an idea but.....I'm open for suggestions.

I have some music that I wrote nearly 20 years ago, at that time I wrote lyrics that I have long since trashed. I love the tune, I just haven't been able to come up with lyrics that I really like for some reason.

Here's what I think I want to do. Anyone interested in writing lyrics, will e-mail me with their address. I will send a cd with all mr8 data to the basic tune. Lyricists will record lyrics and return a cd to me.

If I get any replies (more than one) I will "pick" the lyrics I like best and post on NWR. Note here that the lyricist that is picked will share in the copyright so you will need to send your year of birth. Those of you who might be interested in MUSICAL contributions, will be able to first hear the post before you decide to contribute.

The focus of this project will be to submit for inclusion on the Homerec.com cd as a MR8 project/collaboration. I am interested to hear any ideas you may have regarding logistics etc.

Let me know if any of you out there would be even remotely interested, and perhaps give me any ideas you may have.

I sent you a pm. I have thought about this myself, however I can't play any instruments. However, if anyone wants any vocals done that are in my range, I'm ready to try.
 
I would offer my live drum work, but drums are pretty essential to starting a project so I guess I couldn't. Well if someone did bass and guitar to the click track, and then sent me there project folder, I guess I could dub some percussion in. It could work out. maybe. But my scratching skills are always on the table for anyone who needs em.
