Okay, a couple of friends and I threw together some tracks on a 788 way back in 2002. It was the first time I discovered that you could upload tracks to a pc and mix them. I had a lot of fun learning how to do it. But always thought the end result was flat and sucked. I recently decided to get back into it and learn the more proper way of doing it. Of course my skills are still somewhat limited. I bought into Cakewalk Sonar 8.3 and got some Waves plugins as well. Here are a couple of mp3s, the first is the original mix from 2002 using old Cakewalk software and their plugins. The second file was mixed a few days ago by getting out the old raw tracks from 2002 and giving another go. Tell me what you think about both and don't be afraid to hurt me. hehe. I love constructive criticism as it helps me figure out what I am doing wrong. Keep in mind the only thing I really have to do my mixes is a set of Audio Technica ATH-M40fs headphones. Not the best but will translate in a good way I think.
