MR-8 The Paramater incorrect

I am transfering my first recording to my computer. I am able to see the file under the 2mix folder. When I try to copy it by dragging to another folder, it starts copying and then stops giving me an error called " paramater is incorrect."

What does this mean, and what can I do about it?

Problem solved.

I just downloaded the software update from Fostex. The wav transfer now works.

Hopefully this won't happen again and I can concentrate on music making, not tecnical problems.

I had the same problem. I finally erased my mix-down on 7/8,
re-record 1-6 back onto 7/8. Converted it to wave again, and that time it worked. So I asked the same question... clifchamb offered this advice:


"The wav x-fer problem has been a common bug amoung the MR-8's. It has happened to me twice mysielf. There is an upgrade to version 1.03 on:

www.fostex.com

I guess that version is supposed to fix that problem. "
