MR-8 makes bad noise

Hello,

I found out that my great MR-8
makes bad noise. This is on all silent parts of all records. It is
on all outputs also spdif.
It sounds like tic-tic-tic ... and comes out from the "normal" white noise.
Has anybody an idea what is to do ?

Did you accidently activate the click track? Does it do it on all of your recordings? Have you tried to reformat the card?

Is it just me, or does it seem that there are a few buggy units out there? Seems I've read a few post of people mentioning strange symptoms which I've never experienced...

Hey, who leaves there mr8 usb plugged in all the time? Did I read, or hear somewhere that this could cause problems?

Come on, debunk some myths for me...
 
Mine did the same thing until I turned off the click track. I was about to box it up and send it back till I read about it in the manual.

yes, klick is off.
The noise is generated in the A/D section of MR-8.
You can hear it better if you use the "powerful" mastering button.
If the support can´t fix the problem I send it back ... with such staff I can´t work.
What else I can use ? Has anybody an idea ? No HDs - only CF-cards.

Where did you buy it from? If they have a good return policy I would not hesitate to ship that sucker back. Sad to say you are one of the only people that I have heard on here that have had a problem with a MR-8.
