I use a Kingston CF/1024 there are some caveats:
First it records great on 2 channels simultainiously. I regularly record live shows this way and then transfer the files via a CF reader to a PC for editing later with Sonar. I have not tried a bounce but as soon as I do I'll post the results.
There origionally was a 60 minute limit on the total time for a single song then recording stopped.
After several e-mails to Fostex support I was convinced to download a bios upgrade which then set my upper time limit per song to 99 minutes this again is not the upper limit of the card for a 2 channel recorded song, but it is better. I could not get Fostex to give me a real reason for this arbitrary limit.
There are no instructions on how to install the upgrade anywhere on the website but I was e-mailed all the files needed.
You can have more than one song on the card and each song will have the 99 minute limit.
I have also tried many 512KB cards with the same results. Again I do not need to use the bounce function from what I've read the problem is not as prevelant as Fostex would lead you to beleive and perhaps the bios upgrade will fix it.
The file I recieved from Fostex is 365 kb too big to post but if you need it I can e-mail it to you.
I hope this has been of some help.
