What bit rate are you guys using to create your MP3s?
Is 128k standard.

I'm trying to find the right sound quality/size ratio.

What bit rate sounds really good but is still small enough to use over the Internet.

I wasn't sure what forum to put this question in. Sorry.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

128 is great.

If you want almost perfect, I think 160 is good.

YOu have to get a good codec though. I love the one I use in soundforge 5.0

The higher the bit rate the loner it takes to download. 128 is fine. This program can convert .wav files into mp3's , and mp3's into .wav's. It is also a ripper, so you can burn .wav's onto a CD-R.

Ok.

Very good info.

Thanks guys. I think I'm on the right page now.

Just Curious, How does the Mp3 encoder with Cakewalk Pro 9 stack up, is it decent?
