PC load letter?
does anyone know of a software mp3 player that uses either wdm or asio drivers, because when i use windows media player or musicmatch i get pops and click through the windows mixer

You shouldn't get pops & clicks. What soundcard are you using?

motu 24i, with the pci-324. When i built the computer i didnt add any device for system sounds. Its kinda funny that im asking this now after i've been playing songs through wavelab for the past 6 months. But anyway, sonar using the wdm drivers and wavelab using the asio drivers sound great.

But as far as quicktime, musicmatch and windows media player go, and any system sounds, its all clicks and pops. I'm looking at windows media player settings and it's using a direct sound driver, the asio and wdm drivers arent available.
 
The motu should support the directsound model. Have you looked into its control panel? Maybe try increasing its buffer settings?

(to answer your actual question, no, I'm not aware of any WDM or ASIO mp3 players)
