Hi guys,
Haven't done anything in a long while, but I finally figured out how to play George Harrison's C#m7b5 that he uses on "Isn't It A Pity" on the guitar. Having learned that, I jumped in creating a backing sequence on the Korg i30 Interactive Workstation. After about a week, I had the sequence I wanted. I recorded it onto my Dell D820 w/XP Pro laptop using Cool Edit Pro (It's so old it talks about Windows 95 and NT). I crashed the computer a couple of times, after a long session and adding tracks (8 on the i30 and an additional 7 on the laptop), even though it's dual core and 2GB DDR2. The laptop does not have a stereo input (needed for the keyboard), so I found on eBay a TASCAM US-122MKII USB Audio Interface which can record two tracks simultaneously. Love this unit! Peavey PVM-22 low-Z mic, ART FX-1 reverb, Fender DG-20CE acoustic guitar, pretty basic setup. Played the keyboard distortion guitar solo later, directly into the TASCAM, same for the organ underneath the acoustic guitar. Fender was played through a Crate Acoustic-125 amp and mic'd. Here is the link, it's only up for a few days:
