MP3 data size per minute?

I walk the line
Is there a rough standard for mp3 data size per minute? I'm trying to figure out many minutes of mp3 will fit on a cd, and how many minutes will fit on a dvd. As usual, I didn't know which forum was appropriate, so thought I'd try this one.

Oh, yeah. Guess I forgot about that.

In that case, nevermind.
 
At 128kbs you will use about 1 megabyte per stereo minute.
