I will soon have a korg d16 with digital i/o and scsi in my posession. I need it for its portability and nice mic preamps. I will need to move its data to my cubase program for storage and in some cases additional processing. I only have a standard 16 bit soundcard that came with the computer. The korg d16 is a full 24 bit. Do I need a sound card? Is there a cheaper option that will not compromise the 24 bit data?
