Motu with adat again?

Reading about the motu in the other threads has got me interested. I have an adat and a computer with an athalon k7 650mhz, 384meg of ram, 7200 rpm hard drive, adat pcr card, plextor burner, etc. Besides another set of D/A converters what else would I need to make my system work with the motu 2408mkII. I dont want to buy one of these only to find out I need 5000.00 dollars more in hardware and software. I have Cubase and Logic.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

hi dragonworks...I believe you'll need the fiber-optic litepipe (for adat transfers into cubase) to connect to the motu...and you'll need the 1394 cable to connect to your pc...best case scenario is that your pc has the firewire architecture.
