MOTU Audio Desk 2 Question...

I periodically use AudioDesk 1.0 with an older MOTU 828. According to the AudioDesk manual, effects settings are not automated in the same way as pan or volume automation. The manual also says to "look for this feature in future versions." So, it's possible that MOTU upgraded this in 2.0. I hate to suggest this given the way MOTU respons to e-mails, but you might try sending them an e-mail. There may also be some other type of work-around that would achieve the same goal. Perhaps creating a copy of the track, applying effects, and fading one track in while fading the other out.

(From other posts, I got the impression that you were looking at the 828mkii for a pc-based system. Does MOTU actually make AudioDesk for Windows?)
