I've tried to post this maybe 3 times in the last week but it doesn't seem to work...
I need a portable recording rig. Right now I'm leaning towards a sony picturebook (you know the pcg series...) and a motu 896. Does anyone have any experience with this set-up? I need to record 8 tracks at a time, with or without a mixer. I need it to fit in a shoulder bag. Most importantly, I need to be able to export to my desktop PC quickly and painlessly. Thanks,
