motu 828 & pro tools lite???

How come I'm having a problem using Pro Tools lite with my Motu 828? I'm using Asus Dragon lite + P4 2.4gz. Motu website doesn't say any incompatibility or compatibility infos for that matter. Any one tried or have expirience using Motu 828 with Pro Tools? Any test or research sites that I can go to? Thanks in advance for all your help.

Pro Tools lite?

Do you mean Pro Tools LE or Pro Tools Free? LE won't run with anything except Digidesign hardware, and Free should work with any system that your computer's OS can work with. I don't think PT Free does ASIO, so the MOTU would have to have some kind of driver that registered in Windows. Not sure about Macs.

Does your version of Pro Tools work with your computers other sound card, if you have one?
