I am running a MOTU 2408 with an anaolgue board. I therefore have eight inputs and outputs (which does match the 8 bus configuration of the board). But, I would like additional analgue inputs and outputs. MOTU 24i give 24 analogue inputs. This might be good since the number of outbputs is not nearly as important with the digital Performaer bussing options. On the other hand, I have been considering an Alesis HD24 becuase then I could use the ADAT connection to the 2408 and I believe have 24 analogue ins and outs AND hard disc recroding to boot (pun intended). Do YOU have an opinion?
