Well, I decided to try out XP Pro and now I am having problems getting good sound of the 2408. If I set the buffer size to be 256 or less audio is fine, but above that I get pops, cracks, and in general distortions. I know this is a common problem, but I haven't seen the solution really yet.
I have tweaked a few things, and had no luck yet.
