I currently own a rather terrible sound blaster 16 card, which is supposedly capable of full-duplex audio recording. I can record stereo and and mono samples (using wavelab, or other) from the line in or cd input, and then place these samples into a sequencing program (eg cubase) however,i cannot seem to record "live to track" from my instrument/mike in cubase/logic audio. Why is this and how can i fix it? any help would be much appreciated.
