I am getting really frustrated.
Ok - So I can record 2 channels from Delta44 to n-track and do it all day long, I've got 10 tracks pumping on one song, all full audio with compression, reverb and the whole bit. And my PC Isn't even breaking a sweat yet.
BUT - I CAN NOT record 4 tracks at once!!!!!
Every time I try to use the ASIO function, everything gets screwed up. N-Track stops responding and I have to shut it down. I used to have a MME option for the Delta 44, but I don't even have that when selecting wave devices anymore. I have re-installed N-Track....I have re-installed the Delta44......I have enabled the on-board audio.....I have disabled the on board audio.......I have boosted my system to 384 MB of RAM.......I added a second HD so I now have 2 20G 7200RPM drives. I'm at the end of my rope.
Actually, If someone uses another soundcard with Win2K and N-Track and can record 4 traks with no problem, please let me know and I will go buy it this weekend.
OK this post is too long now.
