so they do sell it at guitar center or are you still talking about the sticky hands
Yes to Moon Gels @ GC. I've bought some there myself.

And it's kinda fun to watch when you strike the head - the gel flattens out a little then resumes its shape.

I love them. I play around with placement of one or two and can get some cool sounds.

I've played drums for 40 years and have watched various products come and go - but I think Moon Gel is one the best drum innovations to come along in many years (and so simple it makes me wonder "why didn't I think of that').

I've visited 4 or 5 GC's and all of them carried Moon Gell - although it some times may be out of stock.

You got that right! I've been using Moon Gels for 3 years now and STILL use the same ones! :)

it doesn't leave any residue
Actually it does...

I have Evans coated heads on my snare and toms and I can see rectangular dark patches (tinted ever-so-slightly blue) in the places where I have used the moongels extensively. It's not something that happens if you regularly move them arround or don't have them on for very long, but if you regularly use them in the exact same place for extended times, they do SOMETHING that darkens that small patch of the head.
