MONSTER laptop system.

HELLO,
I paid a fortune for this system a while back and never used it once! Hence, this is why I am selling it.

Its a gateway 15" wide-screen, 100GB hd, AMD 3700+ processor, and the hd is partitioned and optimized for audio by a techie friend of mine. When I bought it, it was intended for audio only, and has absolutely NEVER seen the light of the internet, nor has it been used at all other than installing the audio softwares.

Also, a glyph 80GB FireWire Tabletop Hard Drive - also a complete virgin.

I am old school, and need knobs and faders... I have zero patience nor time to learn how to use this amazing system.
I'm looking to get back to a stand alone DAW (preferably a KORG D32xd or the like) and would like to work out a swap, however, I will consider any reasonably realistic offer.
Again, all this stuff is BRAND NEW with all original boxes (opened) and never actually used -- ever. The laptop is best known as a "gaming" specialist device, so it will work fantastic with audio applications.

Thats pretty much as low as I will go. The laptop alone just sold on ebay for $900 used. I will give it a chance here, otherwise I will be selling the items individually...

Really? What kind of video card is in it? And How much RAM and at what speed? For gaming, that's a budget CPU.

Video card = 256
ram = 1 gig
processing power = AMD Athlon 64 3700+

I paid $1500 for the laptop when it was new on a "special deal" at CompUSA. Thats not that cheap for a windows machine.

If someone could give me a crash course on how to use it, I would keep it. I'm just not sure I could get used to recording and mixing with a mouse. Hell- I may just go back to reel to reel... Anyway, I am most likely going to list each item individually on ebay after the weekend. Just figured I would rather give it to someone who could make good use of it as a system.
