monster cable versus regular stuff

ok, i hear so many incredible things about monster cable. im wondering how their standard 100 mic cable compares to regular mic cable, and also how the 500 and the pro 1000 compare to the 100?

can it really be worth the huge pricetag?

What is up with this sudden infusion of new member punks into this fine BBS establishment? Seems like every day lately there's a new idiot spewing something angry instead of searching posts or expressing a thought that takes more than an IQ of 60. gibs was trying to point you in the right direction since you obviously didn't bother to check a few forums up. Man, people come here asking questions and then insult people that are just trying to help them out.
 
I may be a "new member punk" on this board, but I've been around on other UBB boards for some time. Certainly long enough to know that such immature behavior as mr. seriousturtle and others have displayed is annoying to the other board members. Just my 2.5 cents
 
Well thank you for those words of wisdom, Jon X. Do you think that just because you have 4962 posts that you can order us all around and we will just do whatever you say because you've been around for a while? Give me a break. I've seen more maturity from kids failing 7th grade than that. Why don't you just take your opinions over to the Yahoo boards. Do us all a favor and stay off these boards forever. No one wants to hear from you anymore.
 
Nothing like a good slanging match to keep me laughing. Keep going guys - it's very entertaining having everybody slagging each other off. Makes me proud....

Anyway, about the cable. I'm a bit skeptical, particularly based on the shite that the monster site spins. Have a look at the belden site www.belden.com it think (I didn't actually check, but I'm pretty sure). It's got some interesting, albeit very technical, articles on the properties of cable.

This is great. I love it. For those of you that responded to my post and are punks, then those comments were for you. Thank you again for proving my point. Anything further let's take this outside, to the Dragon Cave that is, so we don't bother people who are actually trying to ask real questions.

Potatoeater (and any other new members), just because you are a new member here doesn't put you in the group I was referring to. You gotta actually post something stupid and insulting when someone tries to help you to be in that "eLiTe" group. Most new members are great... just now and then we get one or two that think they can insult people that offer advice.

As for the rest who insulted me, who are probably no more than one person, thanks for showing your stupidity again. Check my reply in one of your many other pseudonym posts.

On a serious note, because I have been around on this BBS for over a year doesn't mean anything other than I'm here trying to learn and help other people who are wanting to learn as well. The people who are trying to actually use the board for it's intended purpose tend to hang around, while the trash is taken out rather quickly.
