Monster (Acapella Cover - originally by The Almost) - YouTube



This is an acapella song cover of "Monster" by the band The Almost. This was all done in one vocal take without any sort of autotune being done - it was all done a bit impromptu. :) I just wanted to get some emotions off of my chest, so I just did.

I can't even tell you how many times I've replayed this song, your voice is basically flawless.. no lie. I love the Cartel covers also, they're all fantastic. Please post more!
 
by the way, Casting Crowns actually attends the same church as I do. They have always stayed local, and the lead singer of the group (Mark) is really active with the youth group there, he's with us like every Wednesday night- I showed him your cover of "Set me Free" on your YouTube channel, and he was beyond impressed. He showed it to the rest of the band and they said it was by far one of the best they've heard so far for that song. So, keep up the good work- you never know who is watching! :)

Really now?? That surprises me. :D You are right though, you really never know who is watching. One thing I wish is that I could talk with the artists/bands that I cover, if only just to get advice from them and actually become friends. Maybe one day I'll get lucky enough for that to happen, haha.
