Mono output, vegas

I was wondering if vegas as the ability to playback each track in mono so the tracks can be individually routed to the motu 24io audio interface.

Or, which program is best suited for this function?

You need to increase the number of busses to route tracks to different outputs. It's pretty easy to do, really. I think you go to File->Properties and click the Audio tab. I can double check when I get home from work.
 
I did that! Maybe I miss something. I will check it again. I was still getting stereo output, but I think it was from the preview strip. I'll look into it.

In the audio routing I see 1-2, 3-4, 5-6,....23-24. Basically I want it to work in this format; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,.....23, 24 which is mono out not stereo as above. Track 1 should be output track 1, not output track 1-2.

Any work around?

When you select the track properties like the sample size and sample rate there is a checkbox that determines whether the track is a MONO track or a STEREO track. Once you have selected MONO for the track the routing choices will look more reasonable.
 
Set up 'Bus A' to go to outputs 1 & 2 on your soundcard, send track 1 to bus A panned hard left & track 2 to bus A panned hard right. This should do it.
 
Here's what it looks like when I select a mono track as opposed to a stereo track, arm the track and select the input by clicking on the icon to the left of the, "arm track" button.

Thanks guys for your help! I did what you mentioned above, I notice on a track I had digital print through. I double check the setting to make sure it was not coming from the fx buss or if the wrong output device was chosen.

Just was wondering did anyone every experienced that?
