Mono output from DAWs

There's something wrong with my configuration of my MOTU or Cubase. I recently formatted my PC. Whenever I try to playback in Cubase, the output comes from my right monitor only. If I export the project to a mp3 file, it works in stereo on Winamp or any other windows app. So I guess the configuration set for windows playback is fine...but not my DAW applications...does anyone know the steps into fixing this? I really need to mix a song... :o :o
 
Have you checked your routing and software output assignments?
 
The only two pair of outputs is the 1-2 Main Out from the MOTU.
