Hey everybody,
I own a Zoom HD8 & usually record with it & dump my tracks to my PC. However, I recently became able to record directly to Cubase LE4 (Line 6 GuitarPort, X3 Live), & have some questions:

Would it sound better to record in stereo or mono in Cubase LE4?

The reason I'm asking, I've read in other forums that I need to keep my tracks mono until dumping into my PC. But, now that I'm able to record both ways would like to hear other opinions about this. I assume recording directly to Cubase would let me use the stereo effects like chorus & delays (ping pong delay for example with the echoes bouncing from L-R etc.)that Line 6 has? Also when using my Zoom to record, the tracks aren't true stereo (I don't think) because the ping pong effect doesn't bounce back & forth through L & R channels. Any help & suggestions would be greatly appreciated, & thanks in advance.
