Recently i bought a Tascam-1641 interface and made a rough recording with drums and Bass. I have an option to either input/output mono or stereo...and my question is...what's the difference? and how does it affect the sound?
My second question is..I didn't buy monitors (that connects in the back of the tascam-1641)...so the only way i could hear was through the headphone jack..which i either 1) Put headphones or 2) Put some unused computer speakers..to hear what i recorded. Would this be avoided if i buy Monitors? and...I notice that when i recored with stereo..the sound would only come out in one side of the headphone (or comp speakers)....so i would have to duplicate the track and make one go to the left and one to the right.how is this avoided so it will go on both sides of the headphones in just one track? could it has something to do with mono and stereo?! or could be because i dont have monitors?! help!!!
thank you so much!!!
