Monitors, Ideal to have tweeters at ear height or sub at ear height or inbetween?

I have searched this and nothing relevant came up.

High frequency info is very directional, meaning you don't get the same highs when you are 15-25 or more degrees off axis from the tweeter then being right on axis. So with that in mind, tweets should be at ear level or atleast aimed up or down depending on what its needed to get those tweeters pointed at your ears.
