Here's my vocal chain: mic- preamp- soundcard-mac. I have a new lex reverb and I would like to monitor with reverb but not record it. How do I do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't record using a PC; however, I've had three/four units and am currently using the Yam 2816 and all of the units had the capability to hear the reverb in the headset yet not record it.
Soooo, there must be a way to do it with your equipment.
I'm sure some Mac user here will have the answer. Or contact the Bear @ Blue Bear University or Littledog....I'm pretty sure you can have that function.

why dont u just record vocALS with reverb ?? same time ? what harm would that do ?

Once it's in, it can't easily be taken out...

then put the exact amount u need then record and u can always add ???
singing with no reverb at all sucks !
u mean u wanna listen to it with reverb but record it dry ??
if thats what u want then i think u put ur headphones not in the recorder but in the pa or effects unit ???
but if u know let me know id like to know how u did it
i use tascam42411 etc..
