how do i get this cakeWALK 3 producer edition to monitor the sound wave and read my sound?

i switched the ins and outs to motu 1/2 and disingauged my soundcard, and there is no pre recording sound meter to tell if there is sound going into the computer, and the mac ingauges the motu so its signal activity indicator is reacting and the motu works great with this gus mack laptop and audio desk , but it doesnt work with my pc and cakewalk 3 producer edition....
who do i call because motu tech support is allways busy, and not very helpfull

Just one littel question....have you manage to record anything in other programs than SONAR???

No need to repost what you posted earlier. 
But HMusikk has a good point: Are you able to record with other programs than Sonar?

whoa i sent it twice oops ...
no it doesnt even communicate with the moto its reading that the motu channels are there in producer but we cant get the active sound lights to light up when the motu is pluged into th pc the only way we did get it to light up is when we plugged it into a mac and performer than hooked it to thw pc but still no sound being pass iether to or from the pc?
i think its the firewire port and ill post any resolution i come up with
