I've been using an M-audio 1010lt with Cubase SX for a few months. I switched it to a different PC two months ago. Anyway, it worked as normal at first, but now I can't monitor my inputs. Also, if I toggle the monitor for a channel on, that channel will not record. So I can't hear what I'm recording if using a direct device. It has to be some sort of audio problem though, because I can monitor my midi tracks.
I have reinstalled the card, and even switched the pci slot already to no effect. I haven't made any changes to my system since installing the card the first time, and my pc is virus clear so I don't understand what's wrong now, if it was working fine for two months.

Any ideas?

Yes and no. The only point I had was in that gray area where I can't remember if it was working than or not. Either way, it didn't help. Also, new/old drivers for the 1010lt didn't help.

I did try messing with speech recognition in MS Office a month ago. I couldn't get it to work with the 1010. It might be a conflict but I would think it would only be a problem if I were runing an MS Office app with Cubase, which I don't. Unfortunately, I don't know if that was before or after the restore point, and I don't even remember if I tried recording anything right around then. There was a long stretch that I stopped recording, the main reason I'm confused I guess.
