Hello all,
This is my first post, as I just registered. I'm working with SX and all is well besides the latency being through the roof while trying to add effects to a vocal take (compressor). Even without any effects, the latency is high.
I use an Audigy NX external sound card and Wuschel's ASIO driver with which I can scale my latency numbers down to 21 ms and sometimes less. I'm using a condenser mic to mixing board to sound card connection.
I would like to reduce the latency obviously down to near nothing. I wouldn't care about the latency so much, just hearing it in the headphones, but it records with the high latency, too, and then the takes are a good bit late in comparision to the backing music.
