Monitor Vocals

Right now I'm recording with a Audiophile 2496 into Cool Edit Pro 2.0

When I record I can hear the music already in the mutitrack

How do I hear/monitor the vocals I'm recording as well, what settings do I need to change?

You need to use the monitor mixer that's in the Delta's control panel, on the patchbay/router page assign HW out 1/2 to the monitor mixer, then use the channel faders/pans to balance what's on wave out 1/2 (CEP's mix), with what's coming in on HW in 1/2 (live vocals or guitars or whatever).

I cant hear anything when I set it to moniter mixer

Have you properly set up the monitor mixer?

In the Delta's monito mixer there are mutes, stereo links, and volume faders to adjust..
