I've been using a home stereo system for playback and mixing. Often, I think I have a good mix, and burn to cd only to discover it sounds very different on other systems and players. :( I just want something that doesn't add it's own EQ so that what I record is what comes out of the speakers. I am looking for a soluton while on a budget. Can someone suggest something acceptable that runs less than $150? Perhaps just a decent quality speaker system for the pc with headphone jack? Also, I'm using some $40 phones I found at guitar center...A suggestion for an upgrade on a budget...$100 or so? Thanks for any input folks!

I'm definitely interested! Some sort of trade or payment would seem fair, square bizness.
