Hey guys. Getting Guitar Rig three so I'm not going to really be using my amp so I'm going to be mixing and listening everything through my monitors. Si I want monitors that are not only good for recording, but good for just listening to myself play on if you know what I mean.
Anyways my price limit is about 250$(I am very active on 3bay so if you think I could get a used pair of whatever monitors you suggest for that price let me know)
Thanks!

Take a look at these

KRK Rokit Powered 5 Generation 2

I've heard good things about them. New they''re priced at $300, but I'm sure if you do some searching you can get them down to where your budget is.

alesis active 520. just got these for christmas, and absolutely love them. I think they are a little under $250. i play my guitar through them when recording and love the clarity they provide. plenty powerful to crank, with tons of easy to use settings provided to maximize tonal quality, including an acoustic eq that is very intuitive and can even be set a certain way for speakers in a corner. these monitors also look bad ass and feature a light that lights up blue, and then red if the sound is clipping. i noticed so much more from these than i did with my $150 bose headphones, and i love bose. also my experience with sweetwater was excellent if you are looking for someone to buy from. just a suggestion.
ps, apparently they offer a usb monitor pair now for convenience, though i have not heard these.
