Monitor for listening MP3 320Kbps

Hi, thanks for reading and sorry for posting this here, I know this is not the perfect place to post a question like mine but I think you can help me. I'll be so glad.

I have a collection of music from 80's and 90's, mainly mainstream, but selected.

My ears like... how can I define?

Sharpen/Crystallized music. My ears like something like foobar 2K noise sharpening or Creative's Crystalizer sounds but not so exaggerated high frequencies. My ears doesn't like "bassy" audio.

For listen music only, using an X-FI GO PRO USB or Gamer which is the best monitor?

- M-Audio AV30 (Some people say it's low quality)
- M-Audio AV40
- Behringer MS40
- Alesis Elevate 3 (The cheapest)
- Alesis Elevate 5
- Edifier R1600T / R1200T

Actually, I have Edifier R1000TCN and I think the sound is dirty. It has 2 channels and the A channel have what I can call "High Frequency Reinforcement". I use this channel. The other channel, for me, sounds so "bassy".

I wrote some confuse things but I hope you understand what I like and suggest the best monitor.

You ARE right about one thing. You ARE both confused and confusing!

Ok, let's call a spade a pitchfork ! You are not going to find "studio monitors" for that sort of money. Anything remotely decent will cost you around £250 and a cut above that level would be for instance the Tannoy 501As at £290ish.

The choice of monitor does not depend upon the foibles of your hearing. Their purpose is to give you as unvarnished account as is possible of the sounds. They should "tell you it like it is" YOU then have to make decisions as to how to modify the response etc.

You also seem to have some "gamer" and "SB" audio gear. Usually not useful in a music recording scenario. Most folks just go for a good USB Audio Interface (e.g Steiberg UR22) and hook that up to a pair of decent monitors.

I just wanna know which equipment, between the 6 listed above, will sound next to the way I like. More sharpened/crystalized and less "bassy".

It's not for recording, it's just for listen music.

Can you help me?
 
Just use the EQ on your player to adjust. This is a forum for people doing music recording at home.
 
It sounds like what you want is some consumer grade speakers and a parametric EQ. Or at least a graphic EQ, so you can shape the EQ curve to your liking.

I think that all of those monitors that you listed are pretty close to being equal to each other. There'll be subtle differences for sure, but in that price range nothing is going to be a stand-out. I'd suggest saving up more money and heading out to your local electronics store and do some listening/comparisons of consumer speakers and amplifiers.

The speaker i have Edifier R1000TCN, sounds a little "bassy".

None of them are going to have a noticeabley 'bright' sound in comparison with each other. learn to use EQ.
